When a new client comes to us after going through our previous projects, and wants a similar template for their home, then the onus is on us to understand their typical needs and define them through our design to create something exclusive. And that’s what is the forte of our Founder-Principal Designer Meenu Agarwal. Her intuitive mind immediately starts weaving the requirement of the client with the grand design plan and everything evolves from there to the satisfaction of the client.
For this four-bedroom apartment spread over 5,000 sqft at M3M Golf Estate, we started off with our signature neutral background with various shades of blue as the accent note. So the living room sees a gorgeous sofa with round contours in royal blue paired with beige and brown seating, and a large upholstered centre table. The gold-finished frames of the sofa and sofa seats, and that of the various console tables jotting the expansive living space further add a regal touch. The console tables with geometric metal bases in gold finish and glossy black tops bring in oodles of glamour.
The other part of the living room is adorned with a round table in black and gold with a glorious floral arrangement sitting atop. The chandelier above boasts a similar design as the table, and the entire set-up in the middle of the space offers a very welcoming vibe. The wall behind provides a contrast of patterns to that on the oval carpet on which the round table stands. A gold-rimmed oval mirror on the wall and two arm chairs in a pleasant shade of blue create a picture-perfect backdrop.
The adjoining dining space is decorated with a white marble-top dining table with sleek gold-finished metal legs. The upholstered chairs, in another pretty shade of blue with tapering legs fixed with gold caps, pair beautifully with the table.
The bedrooms are done up in soothing shades of neutral shades of beige and brown with accent colours like lilac and blue. One of the bedrooms sees a fully padded bed extending into a sofa seating alongside with the low headboard encompassing the two. An expansive master bedroom is partially separated into a lounge and sleeping area using a screen.
Luxury, comfort and functionality are thus combined with stunning design features to create a soothing and opulent home that the clients simply fell in love with.
